One of the great finds from our trip to this year's Miami Art Basel was photographer Jeff Chien-Hsing Liao that we learned about at Julie Saul Gallery. Liao, Queens resident by way of Taiwan has truly embraced his borough by creating evocative large-scale panoramic views of life in Queens. In his series, Habitat 7, the photographer takes a journey along the 7 train and documents one of the cities most interesting and diverse communities.
One of my favorite pieces is "5 Points" just one of the stops where Liao links Times Square to Flushing Queens. Want It. Need It!
I wish you great blessings and love.*
