Go See: A View from the Bridge

Liev Schreiber can downright act and I'm not talking about his performances in Scream, X-Men or Repo Man. I just caught his performance in A View from the Bridge on Broadway.

Set during the 1950s in Red Hook, a poor Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn, the play depicts the fall of family man Eddie Carbone (Leiv Schreiber) who has helped raise his wife’s orphaned niece, Catherine (Scarlett Johanssonn). Now 17, she wears heels and “walks wavy,” transforming Eddie’s paternal affection into passion.

Desperate to keep her from marrying Rodolpho, a charming immigrant, Eddie informs on him and his tough brother, Marco, who exacts revenge.
