Nowness has brought us a new take on table tennis in collaboration with filmmaker/photographer Matthew Donaldson and Korean tennis champ/model/actress/multi-hyphenate Sooyeon Lee. The two, along with stylist Kate Shillingford, have created a fun, quick video that imagines table tennis as an outlet for expressing style. We see Lee in Jil Sander and Versace and Mark Fast, jumping around, playing tennis with what appears to be herself. Fringe and tassels fly through the air, seemingly not distracting her from an intense game.

Threadless Tour

It's hard to believe that a decade has elapsed since the birth of Threadless, the wildly popular t-shirt company with an ongoing, open call for design submissions. They're celebrating with the Threadless Everywhere Tour, a three-month, cross-country whirl of art parties, craft fairs, and community meetups that kicked off yesterday in San Francisco. Look for the company's distinctive Airstream trailer/art studio and spray-painted van tooling around your town or rally a Facebook group to convince them to stop by on the tour's third crowdsourced leg. Expect graphically intense birthday cake and plenty of t-shirts, including relaunched versions of some favorite designs from the last ten years.

Under New Management

The Philly-based creative agency and artist collective Print Liberation have come up with some great post-election t-shirts. My favorite is the "Under New Management" and it's heading into my closet.

Runner up is "McCain is Insane." If you're thinking about holiday gifts, consider the two t-shirt package featuring, "F the economy" and "Fuck.Shit.Damn.Ass.Hell" for $28.
